As the owner of Atmospheres, I am thrilled that you are visiting this site.  I started this business to appeal to the VAST majority of people who may need just a little help—or a lot—with their décor and for those who do not want to get involved with the stereotypical interior design firm. I firmly believe that whatever the budget, it is possible to deliver a well-designed room without price gouging. I offer clients a fee structure based on the project—either flat rate or by the hour—whatever makes more sense for the client, and I pass on all my trade discounts. 

I thank my family for a natural eye for design and for the time I spent—almost every waking moment—at my mother’s full-service interior design company while I was growing up in Texas. I trotted the globe throughout my twenties picking up inspiration and ideas while traveling to places like Scandinavia, India, and Southeast Asia (Singapore, Sri Lanka, and Thailand)—and while living in Mexico and New York City.

My artistic goal is to create new “atmospheres” by adding a touch of soulfulness to each room. I work closely with my clients in choosing every aspect of style from paint colors to accessories and furnishings for their homes. I see myself as a design coach and consultant who has access to all merchandise—but I am not tied to any specific lines or brands—and, I repeat, if I get any discounts, I always pass them on to my clients.
